The retirement date is fixed by the establishment and not by EPFO.
For EPS scheme retirement date is fixed 58 yrs.
If a establishment's retirement date is 55 yrs, for obtaining full pension, the member has to wait for attending age 58 and if completed 10 yrs EPS service, may get EPS pension.

Dear Ms. Kalyani,
Presently there is no provision to update retirement date in the EPF portal.
In some establishment the retirement date is different as per category of the employee.
Hence, this date will be updated in member's master data in epfo portal in due course.
