Dear Radha
I agree with what ash said, u just have covered 25% wait and complete 75 to 80% in fact i will suggest show him once u ve done 95% n then take some of his views saying that u wanted to show b4 final submission.
i dont agree much to saying that employees who work hard get more work.See hard work is different but u need to work hard smartly & i feel every1 must know to draw a limit line. After all we are judged by performance only & BOSS IS NOT A FOOL. He might be judging u with this.
think n act

I'm agree with Ash Mathew that even 1% work can take a lot of time, so sit tight & wait until you get your job completely done.
I'm agree with Sikha Singh too!
People who work hard... get more work
People who do not... get bonuses and increments

Hi. Whom are u cheating by not disclosing that u have finished earlier than 3 months? End of the day it will cause a lot of damage to you. Give a 10% time to re-check and submit it with ZERO DEFECTS & 100% MATCH OF EXPECTATIONS. If it can be done in 1 month let it be that way. Whatif tomorrow somebody does it in 28 days or Boss finds out that he himself can do it 30 days ??
Forget all if's and but's or future outcome... Always remember, just think at the end of the day what u did is right or wrong. Shortterm benefits never take u anywhere...

Dear all
This is our right that we can post our views in this cite. Why everyone is saying that i am agree with xyz. Give your own views.
Actually both concepts are appropriate:
Kal kare so aaj kar
Aaj Kare So Ab
Pal mein parlay hoyegi
Barhui karega kab.
Another one is
Sahaj Pake so meetha hoy.
Now how we can respond?

Dear Friends,
Let me just clarify that I too believe that not all bosses are not bad and all situations are not as negative as I described.
Looking at the query posted by Sri Radha, she looked like a fresher and new to the corporate work, hence so happy and excited about her work; I thought its best to warn her so that she remains happy :)

All those recomending that she go slow, please remember that the 'boss' has also gone through the mill; and, if he is anything like you, knows what he did and can see through the act that is put on.
Like Asha aptly says, wait till you complete the whole. Why do you think that the next 75% can also be finished in such a time and that you do not face hurdles. Not knowing the nature of work and its intricacies, I am in no position to comment.
However, my advice would be finish the whole work with diligence but not overworking yourself. Ask the question whether you completed the work by working normal hours or by working a lot of hours over and above the contracted hours.

:) Hi Radha,
I agree with Shikha' view in general cases.
I suggest u that u do enquiry within ur organisation & check history.
It will help u to understand ur organisation's policy.
If there are chances to get incentive or promotion,
then please go ahead & complet the target within the period
which will be easy for u in next time, too.
always think for long term benefit...
have a gud day:-P

It is better to aim at fulfilling the task in a phase oriented and in a complete manner.
If given a target and you have to set objectives and work on it. Noway, you can send a mail giving that you completed part 25%, 30% and so on.
Once you give a picture to your boss that you complete fully and that too in a shorter span of time, boss may be impressed to make you shoulder with higher responsibilities.
So, better to complete the task fully and then hit the rocks!
all the best

Dear All,
I fully agree with you all.
But dear i think you should firstly try n complete the task given to you n den decide on all dis i.e the way to present your boss ur achievement.
Remember you have just started your journey, u have still a long way to go.
So just complete your task first n den present it to your boss......i think this wld be appreciated rather than sending him a mail now.
M sure you will do it b4 the deadline n also will get good response from your seniors.
