Dear Kiran
When an employee sustain injury at work premises and if he is ESI member he should be admitted to the nearest hospital where facilities exist to provide medical care. In short it depends on severity of the injury and is it life threatening emergency. In case of life threatening emergency nearest hospital is the best possibility to save life. Once patient stabilise then transfer him/her to ESI hospital. But ESI should be informed at the earliest about the injury and place of admission and seek the ESI opinion for future course of action.

Please clarify this case...
an employee is under ESI, he gets the increment in month of april and after the increment his salary goes above the ESI ceiling.....
till march his contribution was submitted, please clear whether his deduction would be made for the month of april???
