It is not answerable in a single word. There are several returns to be submitted either monthly or half yearly or annually. There are reports like accident reports which are to be submitted on the happening of a particular event. Main returns are relating to EPF, ESI and Factories & Boilers. A brief of such returns is available in the citehr, I remember it is a kind of "checklist of various labour laws". Please get it. A PPt is also available in my blog in the following link.
