ok avanttika,
you are feeling that u have responsibility with out authority it is better if u have the authority it is more than the responsibility. First u go through the practices and procedures prevailed in the company or nearby company and understand the situation. Politeness and tactfulness only lead the situation.

Dear friend(s),

(Pl.come closer, lend your ears, I'll tell you a secret) (In hush hush voice Uss.) Probably Avantika yet to realise the burden of having "more authority". Having responsibility & authority is just like having a big "hunch on your back" Unless & until you were to have this you would never ever enjoy it? (others please don't hear this secret). You are just a fresher trying to learn. It's just like learning how to swim that too in a sea/ocean. A swimming learner, without a burden of saving others being drowned is a blessing so that the learner can swim ashore safely, otherwise if try to save others, the learner alongwith others get drowned. It's just like that at present. Out of fresh enthusiasm if you would long for authority it may lead to avoidable problems. Therefore "safe start" mode is better for you to start with. Who knows you will be given more and more authority or may come to you automatically, when you gradually show your prowess by sheer hard work and acumen. (At that time you will definitely realise the real burden of having more authority. Learn, learn more, exhibit most. That's it.
