Could anyone tell me what the legal rights of contractual employees working in PGIMER, Chandigarh are? If they cross the age of 30 years while working on a contract basis and a vacancy opens up thereafter, do they receive any benefits? Additionally, are they entitled to a bonus or not?

Dear,

Backdoor entry into Central Govt Service is now prohibited by the Supreme Court. Even if a vacancy is created, unless the management frames a policy for the absorption of contract workers, no preference can be given. Even for contract labor, the contractor has to pay a bonus.
