I'm reaching out to gather information regarding compensation and ESIC pension entitlements for my late father, who tragically passed away recently. He had been with G4S since 1994, serving as a dedicated head guard. Sadly, he met with an accident on his way to a client location, and despite efforts, he passed away two days later in the hospital.

Could anyone kindly advise me on navigating the process of claiming compensation from his employer and understanding the ESIC pension benefits he might be entitled to? Any guidance or information would be deeply appreciated during this difficult time.

EPF - Your father shall be covered under EPF as well & G4S shall support in claims of EPF accumulation amount, Pension under EPS as well as the Insurance amount which is not less than Rs. 2,50,000/- & max of Rs. 7,00,000/-

Other compensation from employer
Gratuity - Employer need to settle the gratuity amount as per the year of service
Un-paid wages - Employer need to settle the wages which is due for the period he worked
Leave Encashment - Any un untilised leaves shall be encashed.
Insurance - there might be possibilities of Insurance benefits under GPA/GTL, if it is there then you should get those benefits as well which is as per the policy

It is very sad to hear the demise of your father. It is more unfortunate to find that a person/ employee who has been with an employer for the last 30 years is still under the ESI scheme! Then what the hell are the employers, G4S, doing with the annual increase they demand from their customers??? A person under ESI should be having salary of less than Rs 21000, right?

Please ensure that the company has sent the accident report to ESIC in time, and the same is in process.
