Hello, I have questions related to CL:
1) Is it applicable during probation period?
2) employee is eligible to get CL during Notice period?
3) Can we use CL for vacation purpose?
4) Can employees encash unused CL at the end of the year or can we use all our unused CL at the end of the year?

Hi,
1) Yes during Probationary period employee can avail CL leave
2) Yes during notice period employee may be allowed to avail CL. Some Employers restrict any leave during notice period. But no law restrict employee availing leave during notice period.
3) If the vacation leave is going to be for more than 3 days then better Employee can avail EL or PL leave. Any thing 3 or less than 3 day leave can be adjusted against CL.
4) Unavailed CL cannot be encashed/ carry forwarded to next financial year
