There is a minimum wages notification available and it will show how much is the minimum basic salary payable to each category of employee. The Department of Economics and Statistics will publish the cost of living index every month based on which you have to calculate the variable dearness allowance payable. Consumer Price Index - New Series
The rate of DA will be available in the notification with base year and how many points of CPI will earn DA and you have to find out the amount of DA based on the CPI.
