I am trying to make an SOP for Training The Trainers who are experienced staff nurses to help them train the trainees ( 2-3 years of experience) from skill development to NABH standards, so that they can enhance their career for the trainers it would be a refresher and an upscaling programme. Can someone help me in developing an SOP for a 2 day programme for trainers including training schedule

Dear Coco,
Good to note that you wish to develop in-house trainers. However, the time span of two days for a programme like Train The Trainer (TTT) is too inadequate.
However, TTT is a little away. Before you conduct the TTT, you need to be ready with the following information:
a) Whom the future trainers will train? Why they will train? Who will be their participants? What will be the topics? What will be the duration of the training programme?
b) When the future trainers conduct the training, what will be achieved through this training? How the ROI or at least the effectiveness of the training will be measured? How will it be measured?
Once you are ready with this execution plan for the trainers, then design the TTT. Roughly, the TTT will have the following components:
a) Training the participants (future trainers) on public speaking skills
b) Thereafter training the future trainers on presentation skills
c) Thereafter, how to deliver a proposed training programme? What will be the methodology?
d) Who will be the participants in trainers' training programme? What will be their education level in general? What will be the psychology of the participants?
e) How to maintain the interest of the participants when they conduct the training programme? How to avoid their boredom?
f) Which training tools are to be used by future trainers and why are these to be used? Why are other tools not being used?
g) Any other points
Your requirement is a niche requirement. Therefore, it will be difficult for the members of this forum to provide the information. Therefore, you will have to develop the SOP on your own.
All the best!
