Dear Colleague,
The Basic + DA+ Retaining Allowance has to be computed for50% of total CTC as per the proposed Code on Wages. The remaining 50% of the CTC may be HRA, Conveyance, Attire Allowance, Special Allowance, and other such allowances as per your Compensation Policy. This is the broad guidelines on which you need to work. The PF, ESI. Gratuity, Leave Wages all will be worked out later once the Code is implemented based on the first 50% mentioned. Hence your cost budgeting to be done suitably. But you can wait until the Code is implemented. There will be more clarity will come in the coming days and you need not hurry in this area as Govt is yet to implement the new Code.
