Do you have format for appointment order for others? Give the appointment order of this office boy also in the same format.
Do you have a leave policy for others? make it applicable to him also. You cannot have different leaves to an office boy. Similarly, you cannot have an office timing separate for an Office Boy. Of course, your Manager shall be given less number of leaves and more hours of duty because he is not an employee coming under the purview of any Labour Law but an Office boy is a workman and should not be given hours of work which is more than what is prescribed under Law,ie, maximum hours per day subject to a maximum of 48 hours a week. Similarly, his leaves should not be inferior to the one as per he relevant Act as applicable to your establishment.

Then follow the leave rules as per that Act. Shops....Act is a state Act and the leave rules differ from state to state. In any case, you cannot give lesser number of leaves to office boy. Similarly, you cannot make him work for more than 9 hours or 48 hours in a week without paying overtime wages.
