Hi, I worked for an organization in 2007 for 6 months and left it. I have the experience letter from them. At that time didn't have a pan card or any other id proof but now i am planning to rejoin the organization. So the problem is that time my birth year was mentioned as 1983 however now as per my pan card and aadhar it is 1985 after the correction. So do i need to just submit an affidavit or any other proof as well. Also, i didn't want any rejection to happen, so what i did was at this time for the re-application i still mention the old date of birth in the resume. So that i should not get the rejection just because of the date of birth mismatch.
Kindly suggest what to do as not only me even my family is depending on this job. Because in a day or two I will be getting the an email for the documentation date.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi Samuel,
In my view, you should discuss with the HR Manager of the Organization you are rejoining in person before your joining date.
Taking him/her into confidence, present all facts before him/her and also inform that the Year of Birth mentioned by you in the CV is in accordance with your previous employment records with them.
You should also mention to them that there was no any bad intention and that you are willing to submit a declaration along with the relevant proofs for their employee records.
Do not worry.
All the Best.

Dear Samuel,
I think you repeated your mistake you should have corrected the DOB right first time & again you mentioned your DOB wrong on the resume on which you signed with declaration that the info given is true and correct to your knowledge & belief. Usually the DOB proofs are Pan, School leaving certificate, Aadhar card, Driving License, etc. You just have to submit the documents to correct the mistake happened in past. Instead you chose to carry on with the same. Immediately contact your HR dept. and Correct the same. Do it in order to avoid further problems with PF, ESIC, etc.
