Hello, all respected HR professionals, I have 3 years experience in bpo sectors as a hr recruiters. Now in professional area i switch over in a different sector (media). Now I join here as a HR-executive, but here I get so less of work pressure. At the end of the month if any one from board of directors ask me about my salary justification, what should I do??

Hi Swati,
Why would they ask you for salary justification when they only offered you the JOB and the Salary???
I sometime fail to understand how can somebody be paid based on ths so call lingo "WORK PRESSURE". in my career I never found a company that increased by salary becoz I was handling lot of pressure.
No No. Just get that "pressure attitude" off your head. BPO, I feel, is meant to get that in to our head. TAT, Quality, Customer satisfaction, Target (inbound/outbound), min calls (even if it Holiday in US, weird) and what NOT......pressure pressure pressure....
I must say you are lucky to get out of that BPO faster. Media has its own challenges and you will get to know how challenging its to work as a HR Executive in Media. Wait and Watch. Till that time enjoy for honeymoon period. Good Luck.

Dear Swati,
No one will ask you any justification as far as you complete your respective tasks which has been given to you. To give you the responsibility and tasks are your head or companies responsibility and to finish it in required time is yours. So if you are efficient enough to finish it, no one will ask you.
Regarding work pressure than BPO is a sector where you can calculate your work and in other sector on the post of HR Executive its bit difficult to calculate. Reason being, responsibility is different! Gradually you will understand that it needs more mental work than calculative work.
There's a lot more to come, which will be challenging but at a same time enjoyable too.
All the best!

Hello Swati Sarkar,
Like Ukmitra & Sneha Joshi mentioned, when this Company offered you this particular job @ this CTC, don't unnecessarily pressurize YOURSELF where there's no pressure on THIS count.
Just focus on completing the tasks @ hand in time.
However, pl also note that the 'type' & 'scale' of pressures will ALWAYS be different in different domains/sectors. While you had one set of pressures in BPO, you will have another here.....IF you haven't faced it so far, pl rest assured that the pressures....of a different kind....will materialize sooner than later.
And that's the beauty of being into HR.......where the challenges are varied on a larger scale & depth, unlike technical positions.
All the Best.
