Dear Fellow HR compatriots,
I have a query. Under which act white coloured so called employee of a trading company are covered with respect to statutory compliance like PF, LWF, Leave encashment & Leave carry forward?
Labor Act or Contract Act Look forward to some useful advices on the subject.

Hi Anubha Shankar
PF is different from other acts. PF for all the employees are irrespective of the nature of the organisation is covered under PF act.
Others like LWF, Leave Encashment & Leave carry forward are controlled by Shops & Commercial act or the factories act based on the registration
If you are engaging any contract employees/contract labours then Contract Labour act comes into picture. If you want to engage any contract labours then you should get approval from labour commissioner.
