hi all seniors
I am working in a small scale concern and our direct is in direct touch with all employees. there is a running issue that when ever any of the employee use to go on holiday, our employer become disetisfy and use to call again and again, above to that we use to deduct salary for every holiday, there is no holidays allowed in year.
Our direcet use to run the unit on autocratic basis and wish every employee should think abour company only. Every one should work for long hours, either he is good performat or a learner. even performars are been asked, why they did,nt look after learners work.
I am working here from last 3 years and now i am feeling fade-up and disturbed with all this, please suggest what i should do in this case.

To run away from the problem is not a solution!!!!! i wud suggest you to make a system in your company, set up some policies or rule for this..how many peoples are working in your company and what is the nature or work?? Cud you plz let me know more about this issue.
See i dont think that peoples of your company dont wanna get the solution of this problem ...bcz there is no one who will agree on the deduction of Holidays from the salary and getting bothered by others on thier leaves ....and certainly wanna get the solution of this problem but there is no one who can make the system and guess you have to take this responsibility..discuss this with all the member or most senior in your company/Managers/GMs if any, and make a rule...

Dear Verma,
I to agree with Mr. Anil Arora , and hope you are working in small Manufacturing company.
So , plz think from both ends, (From Management as well as from Employee) bcoz you are the bridge between Management & Worker.
I think , Management what to do some Leave policies for bcoz they don't want employees go for leave without information when factory is running.
So Make some Leave Policies and make sure that Management should agree to this & workers also agree and follow the policy.
Just I am sending HR Standing order or Employee Handbook u can call , just refer it and if anything let us know.
Or other my seniors will guide you.

I am agree with you that there should be a policy for leave but what if all 365 days are busy days. Our director use to call every time when we are on holiday and most of the time for the work, to which we have completed in advance for the sake of that particular off day, instead of checking the same in office, he use to call us and use very rude language as well, as we have committed a crime by taking a off day.
and the worst part of the story that he is not agree to make and hard and fast policy for the same. his mode swings like anything and we have to listen just because of nothing.

Mr. Anuj it is almost impossible to have all 365 days busy..guess you dont remember about the national holidays what you have counted in these 365 days..lolzzzz. Moreover you have to make leave policies and try to convince your boss on that first. You can start with the emphasizing your motive behind this and tell your boss that you and other employees are demanding this. Also you need to take a formal approval of all the employees, you have in your company for this policy and implement on it ..

Second, if you and your boss are really worried about the company's future and dont wanna face any problems which can really bother you, you have to make a system for that. And i dont think your boss not gonna accept the same if you make these policies and follow sincerely. Perhaps you dont know, this can be a big reason for RESIGNATION, SLOW WORK, EVIL ATMOSPHERE, LOW PERFORMANCE in your organization/company and can also be a reason to have legal problems in future If one going to take action....

Thanks a lot for your valuable suggestion, i hope i will work for us, apart from that is there any limit of holidays allowed as per law for employees, we are not willing to go for maximum but i am willing to make a provision in our policy for our promising employees, who use to take very few leaves in year. they should be compensated in terms of leave incashmen
