dear friend,
for a project on OD, u must choose an organization which uses OD. SMEs seldom use it. u can target some bigger organizations of any sector for this.
u can either do a descriptive study of OD in the organization chosen.
you can choose a medium sized company and examine the efficacy of OD programs in the company.

OD is a very broad concept...You can start it with 'Organization climate survey' with any chosen organization. Prepare a questionaire that comprises of 25 questions related to work, superiors, team, benefits,satisfaction, salaries...anythin and everything related to the environment in the organization. Analyze it from department to department.. Draw your conclusions and there by recommend changes to the management. Its not so easy tho... you need to have depth knowledge on analyzing problems and coming out with a solution.
