And then if employee leaves on medical grounds and immobility because of an accident, should we deduct salary for not serving the notice period?

I gone through your query,it is obivious that deducting the notice period for the employee. Who ever it is the person needs to be there in the job for atleast one month until other person taking his job or his profile. This is what the motto behind the notice period. notice period would be dertermined by their post they holding when they were resigning.
