As per ESIC rules, any employee joining on the date of 17-04-2023 must have their ESIC registered within 10 days. If we fail to register their ESIC within this period, what documents are required to update the joining date to 17-04-2023 with the authorities? If anyone has the format, please share.

You have to reply to the show cause notice as soon as you proceed with the registration of an employee 10 days after his joining, with the relevant appointment order and the joining report in support of joining. If you ignore it, the registration will be accepted, but for all benefits the employee is entitled to from the ESIC, the date of registration will be taken.
