Hi All,
I left the company after working for 4 months.
The HR of that company is saying that I can't settle the PF as I worked less than 6months in the company.
Is there any such restriction to settle the PF.
I left the company 3 months back, the two months restriction period for EPF withdrawl is over.

Deepak Agarwal

Hi Deepak, You can take 12% of your contribution and as you have not worked for 6months you cannot take employer contribution . Riji

The EPF deducted from the employee is withdrawable in full. Regarding the Provident Fund Contribution of the employer it is deposited in 2 a/c namely Pension Fund (@8.33%) and EPF (3.67%) The Employers contribution is withdrawable without any restriction. The Pension Fund contribution can be withdrawn only after completion of 6onths of service.

Hi Arbind, Can I transfer the pension fund of my previous company to the pension fund of my current company. Or is it like, I can neither withdraw nor transfer the pension fund. Regards, Deepak

Yes, Deepak, all are absolutely right. You are not eligible to get 12% employer's share in your PF acct. If you leave your job b4 completing six months. But yes you can surely use the same PF acct. in your new job IF BOTH THE COMPNIES ARE IN SAME STATE.
