Hi, in my office employee not completed their notice period and left the job without completion of the notice period. when I called them for completion of notice period they are starting a fight and arguing with me. Not also handover the task of another person. Because of that, my project work gets delay and another employee who is working with them has started I can't work on that task and so, called the old employee and tell him to complete.
What to do with this type of behaviour of an employee. So everyone running away from their responsibilities. and only making timepass and making work delay purposely. Can anyone suggest solutions for that.

The company needs to introspect.
Normally people join for work to earn livelihood, grow professionally and not to just treat employment as a joke and run /abscond etc
Look at the way employees are treated-is there any deficiency in standards of treatment.
Management needs to have a holistic review of the whole system of employee treatment, work policies and see what is triggering frequent work issues from employee side.Analysis of these issues can give solutions.

Why your employees areleaving is a major concern. You need to understand the causes/reasons from the employees feed back restructure your own house first.
Be an employer you need to be hard and stuborn. Issue letters and if required stop payment. Tell the employee that they are free to leave but to comply the norms or otherwise for the non-compliance, management would terminate and notify in largescale in media. Discuss with your managemnt head to make contract(Bond).
