Dear Sir/Madam, A company has branch in Banglore and is deducting EPF on actual basic.
Now they are opening a branch in Delhi and has applied a separate code for EPF.
They want to follow restricted method of EPF for Delhi branch. Please suggest if it is ok to have different kind of deductions under the same entity.

under a Single PAN separate code can not be allotted, however they can apply for sub code under section 2
they will get code alloted with suffix 001 under the branch,
balance they can file ECR and pay separately for every code allotted

I tried to find this on EPF act and employer FAQ but no information.
Please advise.

There is no bar to maintain both ways, department's concern is up to 15000/- only,
over the 15000/- is the concern between employee and employer, if both agrees to pay on 15000+ then they can proceed for it

Thank you sir. Is there any way I can show a document to my boss. He is asking me to present document as per law / EPF act. Kindly help.
