Hi All, There is a scenario for which I need to know the fact to help my colleague. She went on maternity leave last year fully.She joined her work this year FEB 2017.The annual appraisal period for the year 2016 to 2017 ends on March 2017. So totally she had only 35 working days in the whole annual period for evaluation . Her Manager rated her with very low points as others where seniors in the projects and the goals and objectives were same for all.
As per new Organisational policy, the employees who got that rating should be terminated. She was forced to put paper and she did it. So can you please tell me if there is any minimum number of working days to be taken into account for annual appraisal for her who is back from maternity?

Appraisal are company based and company Specific there is no hard&- fast rule for appraisal system. Its management decision fromwhom toget rid off.
