Dear All, I would like to request your input on the issuance of a warning letter to a team of drivers (10 plus drivers) at our office.
There are several cases of negligence in their duties, and no cooperation from them to any employee requests.
I would appreciate it if you could share the format for it and share your thoughts on the matter.
Regards
Honey

Dear Honey,
Do you wish to issue warning letter to all the 10 drivers. If yes, then it will be a unique case. This is a case of mass indiscipline.
If all the ten drivers merit issue of warning letters, then the question arises as to whether they are suitable for the job. Is it a recruitment problem or is it a training problem?
Let me assume that they work in transportation department. If yes, then have you prepared SOP for their work? If yes, then have they understood these SOPs or these are just on paper? Have you conducted training to implement SOPs? What about supervisor of these drivers? Is this a supervision problem?
If they are negligent of their job then we need to specify that exactly is their negligence. Have they failed in first-line servicing of the vehicles or daily check up of the vehicles?
There are so many questions associated with your post.
Thanks,

Dear Mr. Dinesh,
We are not running a fleet company. these drivers are taking care of the activities within the company like picking up the managers from their residence, procurement, office assistance etc. All the drivers are handled by the Administration Assistant.
Not all neglecting the jobs given to them, but yes, at times they simply don’t want to carry out the delegated work. These 10 people have joined the company during its initial stage. Also the company doesn’t entertain termination (but in worst case, YES we will be terminating).
Each driver is allocated with job responsibilities and they are well aware of it.
We would like to make them understand that their negligence of duties has reached the ears of management and we want the drivers to take care of their duties, else will be moving for rigorous actions such as termination.
