I am working as Hr oficcer.i have one query about factory act.
if company name is same but location different then factory is applicable or not.(if worker strength one unit 30 or another unit 10.pls give your advice.

Factory Act is very clear on its applicability. It says
1. A manufacturing process is to be carried out.
2. Employment strength of 10 or more employees if manufacturing process is carried out with the use of power and 20 or more employees without the use of power.
Further the Factory Act is applicable on the location (Industrial Premises). Name of the unit may remain same for registration under factory act.
