Off Late It has been Observed that Some of the Organisations Have been Providing Vacancies to Consultants.
The Consultants Put their Efforts and Share the Valid Profiles to the Organisation / Companies. But After a Period the Answer for the company would be Vacancy On a Hold.
Is it Appropriate for the Organisation to Call the Candidates after some days and Interview and Finally Employ Them. Is This a Part of Good Business Ethics... What to do with Such Organisations.....
Did Any Recruitment Consultants Met Such Incidents.... Awaiting for your inputs...

Any person can seek an employment anywhere. A company can employ any one to any post within the frame work of its own rules. Of course there are exceptions.
If a company is hiring someone, it is at full liberty to take all possible output from its employee.
Whether it is ethical or not is a moot point. Whenever any person leaves a company he takes with him plenty of tacit knowledge. In fact many competitors poach such employees with vested interest and it later it turns out to be a deal of mutual interest.
In a similar way a company can hire or employ a consultant and get the benefits it is looking for. Peter F Drucker describes the wanted category as KNOWLEDGE WORKERS and predicted that it would be difficult to stop such people from shifting. This he wrote towards the end of the last century.
