Is work ethics something that could be taught?
if so, how?
or people learn from early years and it is not a teachable thing?
I need this information as i run a school and find it necessary to work on this topics with employee before thy join in

Hi Heba,
As an answer to your questions, yes, Ethics can be taught, by two means,
1- presentations of situations & there are loads on the internet, just write in google ethics ppt
2- by having the applicants or trainees into a tour within the workplace & giving live examples how people deal with each other.

Dear Heba,
Yes ethics can be taught. That people will learn these by themselves is sheer assumption.
The best thing to teach ethical business practices or ethical work practices is during induction process. The best method is to show past instances of ethical work practices that managers or workers have shown in the past. Instead of giving outside examples, examples of the people who work around them will impact them more.
