Follow this procedure to update the IP Detail:
1. Login to the ESIC portal.
2. Click on the Update IP Details link.
3. Type the employer code in the Employer Code field.
4. Type the insurance number in the Insurance Number field.
5. Click on the view button. The IP details will appear.
6. Click on the Select button.
7. Click on the view button. The declaration form will appear.
8. Change the Gender.
9. Select the checkbox for "I accept the terms and conditions."
10. Click on the Update button.

It may be deactivated as the ESIC Branch office might have locked it for verification. You need to contact your local ESIC Branch office and speak to the ESIC Manager to unlock the same so that necessary changes can be made.
