Dear All, Is there any criteria regarding the minimum no. of days to be worked by a worker in order to be issued a service certificate?

Dear Vignesh,
There is no any rule for the number of days to be worked in order to acquire a Service Certificate.
It depends from organisation to organisation.Some organisations do not issue them if an employee has been asked to leave on account of any act of misconduct or if he leaves before completion of minimum six months of service or if he is not confirmed.
As a matter of right, every employee who leaves for good and is relieved should receive a service certificate.
In case if the company cannot issue a service certificate for whatsover reasons, they should provide acopy of final settlement dues mentioning his date of joining,designation and date of leaving which can act as a proof of his employment with them.

Yet, a service certificate cannot be issued for one day or before completing probation period as no Manager can access the reliability and work efficiency, however, they issue service rendered in an organisation with the motive best wishes for the future endeavours..
