Hi Seniors / Professionals.,
Hope everyone doing good !!..
This is Ravi Kumar from Andhra Pradesh. I am working as a HR. We have a small issues...
We have one employee, He joined on April 2014. We took him as a permanent employee.
The problem is...,
He put down the papers on last week. And he said,"he married one year back but they didn't stay together. Now his wife put a case on him for divorce. So he needs 6 months time to settle down the problem. and he wants to work from home (for this 6 months ) but salary must be in hand".
My issues are., (All projects in critical stage only. We need his support)
1. Shall we give work from home option to this guy(with salary in hand) ?
2. If we agreed for work from option., Shall we decrease his salary ?
3. Shall we take any agreement (He has to join with us after 6 months)
4. Shall we accept his resignation and search for some other guy ?
Regards.,
Ravi Kumar

Hi,
1.This kind of issues depends on the management end.
2. As concern management end ,you will approve for one employee next employee raise the same query.
3. Think as a company not as a employee.
4. Better to take his resignation and search for other candidate.
5. if he is suffering from any injury in this situation may give approve.
6. Divorce matter is not big thing for that he need 6 month leaves, tomorrow he will quarrel with wife and again he will ask leaves to conveyancing purpose.
