Dear Member,
Since new proprietor is taking over the Factory or Estt which is already registered with ESIC, compliance should continue on the same code and necessary changes about proprietor/ Bank a/c etc may be got changed by applying online on www.esic.in . Any other specific queries may further be addressed to dahiyams@hotmail.com

There is no concept as such of change of proprietor.
The business of proprietor has no independent existence. it is an extension of the proprietor.
So in change of proprietor, it amounts to sale of the business and the same procedure will be necessary.
If you do want the business continuity, then it may be a good idea to convert it into a partnership. Please speak to your CA or Tax advisor and figure out what you need to do.

If there is any change of owner you have to submit Form 5 A to RPFC.Similar provisions are there for ESI also. ie annual information. If by change of proprietor, the name/s of employer/s already given to the authorities are not changed ,then no need of informing them.
