Our organization is continuous process in nature. We can\'t shut down our plant for full day because it will take long time reactivate the process. Plant is running round the clock. So, people working are local as well as from distance place and inter states residents also so how to proceed on the day of election in the state. I need help from you people. Please help me out.

The Election Commission had declared a holiday on the day of polling. However, observing holiday for the full day depends on the operations of the company. In your case, it is not necessary that you will have to declare a holiday but to facilitate the locals to exercise their franchise by giving them leave of 2-3 hours. Tamil Nadu was only exception but there might have been some exceptions in industries of your nature with prior permission of authorities. However, you verify the practice in the industries in your area and follow the same for uniformity.
