Hello Everybody,
I am working in a Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Company and we do not have any separate policy for the third party contractors who are working with us. Our Management want me to create a seprate policy called "Contractor Management Policy" which includes the dresscode, working hours, how to maintaing the record of contracted employees whereabouts etc. But I never came across such kind of policy and I would like to request all of you to give me some ideas about the same kind of policies that you are following in your company.
Thanks in advance.

Dear Siju
Are you referring to contracts/contracts labours under Contract Labour regulations & abolition act ?
If yes, you need to have a system in place to comply with all legal provisions applicable to them. Please see attachment it shall be helpful to them.
You can introduce some clause in the "contract" itself to impose upon the contractors to comply with uniform, safety shoes and other code of conduct.
Contract Labour Management is serious subject and having legal and financial impact on one's business.
I would advise you to seek help of professional/consultant to implement the same.
