Hello All Members,
I had applied for PF withdrawal around 25th March 2013, filled up Form 19 only (as my work period with the firm was less than 6 months) and submitted in the PF form office, also to mention that due to not good relations with the firm I got the PF form signed a Bank Manager (about the Non employment verification thing), In the PF office as well they accepted my form after going through it and gave me a receipt of the same, and in few days time I got a Sms from the PF office about the request in process. Now in few days time I got another message from them stating that my application has been rejected and the letter is under dispatch, but till date haven't received any letter ( it has been around 15 days since I received SMS from them.
Members please suggest what should I do next?
If I visit the PF office will my request be heard in a typical Government environment?
Thanks!

Hello NK,
The PF office may reject due to absence of additional documents which the employer needs to provide. Although you have submitted the PF withdrawal application signed by the Bank Manager, the application will be sent to your previous organization for want of additional details.
The SMS would have some reference number. You should go to the PF office, meet the PRO and communicate this issue. You need to have all details in hand like the above mentioned reference number, PF account number, date of submission etc. Also please carry necessary stationery in case a written application needs to be filled. Some PF office insist for a Revenue stamp as well. Keep them handy. You would receive a satisfactory response, and incase if they ask you to come on some other day, make sure you turn up on that day.
Good Luck

Hi Sree, as discussed above about the PF withdrawal thing, I actually now have received the letter from the PF office stating that they have rejected my application as the Form 19 signed by Bank manager isn't valid as the Estt. is still running. Sree please suggest me any way out as I can not visit my last firm due to not so good relations with the management. Is there any way out if I request the PF office department and show them my relieving documents or something like that?
Thanks!
