If you need help or your executives need coaching let me know. There are a lot of details of how to do this, but they are very easy to learn and easy to execute. Engagement is not a program that can be assigned to a group to implement because it is the boss' leadership, the boss' responsibility and there is no way to delegate leadership.

In addition to what have been contributed by Bensimo, listening skills. This is beyond lending your ears. Its mostly seeing through the gaps , not to judge but to build.
Town halls are the best example to this. Create a platform not to bring in some leaders on the limelight, but to get many people under one roof to hear them out.
Respecting anonymity is another , where responsibility of establishing trust with an employee who have uses an Open door to send a message through.
At the heart of it, remember every employee cares, even if they would leave the firm at the first best option, yes they still do.

There are eight key elements to employee engagement Strategy.

Leadership

- People don't leave companies, they leave bosses. But it's not just about the boss, it's about the company encouraging its employees to think about ways that they can add value.

Communication

- Companies should communicate with employees about the firm's direction, future, vision and values; an informed employee is an engaged one.

Culture

- Companies say employees are their greatest assets, but I Love Rewards CEO Razor Suleman respectfully disagrees -- he says it's the culture. "If you can find employees who have the same or similar DNA to the culture of the business, those employees feel at home."

Rewards and Recognition

- Benefits, compensation, recognizing an employee's performance, but also building an employee's self-esteem.

Performance

- Winners want to work for winners. "You want to be with a company that's performing well," Suleman says.

Personal and Professional Growth

- Most companies have figured out professional growth, but companies need to focus on personal growth too.

Vision and Values

- Everyone at the company needs to know what the vision is and to live it. Employees need to know how they fit into the vision of the organization.

Social Responsibility

- Everyone wants to leave the planet a little better than when they found it.
