Sir,
Am Rani working in a start up Software company as a HR Executive, As am fresher don't have good knowledge on performance appraisal process, So can any one help me on appraising the candidates..

Thank u sir for your suggestion,
But i want to know more information, Actually we are giving salary hike for every 6 months depends on their performance and their work.. I want to implement one specific process for that..
Can anyone give me more suggestions..

I second Muralidhar.. pls read the various ways of Performance appraisal process, MBO is Management by Objectives which means u are fixing certain objectives where the employee should perform and then you put ratings to each objectives and do the calculations....
360 degree appraisal is a form where you ask to all the seniors, subordinates, colleagues of the employee and get a rating and evaluating on the employee performance...
Selecting a method depends on the number of employees u have and the structure of the company...so plan and decide according to your company structure. You can select any method that is easy and can be done every 6 months. All the best !!
