If the organization permits, I recommend that you aim to work on any or all the projects mentioned below in the time available!
1) Compliance under various/applicable labour laws.
2) Rationale of Emoluments Structure and the differencs between various levels.
3) Delegation, Empowerment, Performance Appraisal Systems with special reference to setting of KRAs/KPAs, Targets and the frequency of actual performance reviews.
4) Systematization of the HR function-the extent, the depth and the coverage!
5) Attrition/Retention strategies deployed by the organization and their efficacy!
But kindly check out the organization that is willing to receive as an intern! And, Yes, enquire if the organization has a supportive, nurturing and educative culture. In the absence/inadequacy of these you will have to rely upon your own self and self learning!
