Dear Seniors,
I am an HR - Trainee in one of the manufacturing industries. Only 2 years back the Dept of HR was initiated. Since then ESIC was not followed in our org. Due to pressure from our prime employer we are now forced to start ESIC. We have Interstate migrant workers in Large nos. So the prob is, getting their family photos for the final procedure of ESIC. Can you senors help me with any suggestions on how to do this.

If the worker is having his family with him where he is curently working then they can get their family photo at the ESIC regional office and if they don't have their family or they interstate migrant workers there is no use of there family photograph, because their family cannot avail this facility. so in this condition we should cover the worker only under ESIC ACT.
Plz. correct me if i am wrong.

Dear Yashwant,
You can only paste the employee photo on TIC (it is not compulsory to paste whole family photo) , then whole family has to go to local esic office for photograph and finger prints record.
once a employee get esic card it can be used any where in India.
But if family members cannot go to local office then family members will not get benefit. so no need of family photo. paste only employees photo and send.

For how long TIC is valid, coz in our construction industry workers do not go to EISC (BO) Is this mandatory that worker has to visit personally to get permanent card ? If he affix family photo but family cant go in person then ESIC coverage to family will be provided or only to worker ?
