please help me in understanding the major difference between induction and on boarding process..

Induction and on boarding are two different things:
1. Induction: This process basically involves making the new joinee familiar with the organisation's processes, procedures, goals, vision, Mission and also introducing him to the other employees.
2. On Boarding Formalities: This process involves the completion of joining formalities with the new joinee at the time of joining..
