Hi How is it possible. On 4.13 CTC basis is just 6000/- Basic should be around 50% on the gross. Can you tell what is the gross pay? What are the other components and contributions on your CTC?

You never accept this offer in case basic less than previous employer.basic salary is the long term benefit for any person.ask them to keep same basic and match to 4.13 ctc .
Generally all companies make employer fool the employee. Considering the hike person get attracted, with out having much knowledge in basic pay and its role in terms of long term benefits one will become the looser.
In case you feel to join for short time stay in the new company, you may accept.but certainly i do not suggest you for long term stay.

Do they have DA?If Baisc plus DA is around 30% to 35% of your CTC, it is perfectly ok. Give complete details You can check on the following thumb rule calculation
1. Basic plus DA 35% of CTc
2. Monthly Allowwances 30% of CTC
3. Annual allowances like LTA 5% of CTC
4. Performance Pay 20% of CTC
5. Social Security like PF Medical Gratuity etc 10% of CTC
If the percentages are are more or less same then it is a good offer
