I am in India currently, based at Ghaziabad. I am looking for job opportunities in Dubai aggressively. I have been posting my CV (4years of Experience in Marketing) to all companies whoever have been posting requirements on job sites such as Naukri/Monster/Bayt etc.
But I need to know if there is something more i should do. Is it possible to get a job from India Itself or do i have to go to UAE to get a job? i dont have any relatives etc in dubai i could stay at so its not possible for me to go to dubai and stay there for 15 20 days and then find a job. So please anyone, who has a good suggestion to give, it will be highly useful and welcome.
What i need to know is:
1. Ways to find a suitable job in Dubai/UAE in Marketing, from India itself.
2. Is it safe for single women to work in Dubai being a Hindu Indian.

1. You have to check with Local companies in Delhi who deal with overseas recruitment's. There are several companies who deal with overseas recruitment and most of them are based in Mumbai or Delhi. This is the most productive way to get an employement in UAE being present in India. Many companies are hooked up with these recruitment companies for their manpower requirements.
2. People do take up this route of coming to UAE on a visit visa and try to look for a job opportunity. Though results are not very much assured and is not an advisable option. Having no relatives in UAE will for sure make things complicated and uncertain. Legally, you are not suppose to do this. Its not the correct way to look for a job. You visit here as a Tourist for the purpose of Tourism or meeting relatives or Business trips. These are the three major categories of visits. Being single and unmarried, you cannot come to UAE on a visit, unless you have a blood relative to sponsor you.
3. There are several women whom I know who are single and are working on employment contracts and they are Hindu too...I haven't come across any kind of indifference based on religion, nationality or culture. UAE is a place where you will find people from 160 countries and all from Multicultural environment so please be very positive on this point.
Note: All above information is based on my personal knowledge that I have about UAE and its Expat working class. Please do not treat this as information on which you should rely 100% on. This doesnt have any legal standing or conformance to any labour law regulations.
