Dear Friends,
We have some female employees who have regular outstation tour in a month. Please advice me what should be the outstation allowances for them. The employees are Trainee / executive level.
Kindly Advice.

There won't be any out station allowance, if any employee is relocated then normally organizations will provide relocation allowance to meet the additional expenditure but if some employees are going on duty to outstations then the Travelling & other expenditure is borne by the employer hence no outstation allowance is required. if you pay like that then most of your employees want to take up the outstation jobs only.
If you want to reward them for their best work at outstation then evaluate their performance and pay some performance bonus which is linked with the performance of individual which in turn bring the competetiveness, productivity increase among the employees and increase in the profit of the organization.

If they are going to A class cities they should be eligible for atleast Rs.2000/- per day, for B class cities Rs.1500/- per day.including boarding and Lodging, Rs.500 for local conveyance and III A/C fare for up and down travel.
Ask them to submit actual bills for Hotel boarding and train ticket or bus tickets
A Class cities are Chennai,HYD, B'lore and other metros. B class are other cities.
