Hi All,
I am working in one TOP 3 MNC in India as a Software Engineer in Bangalore and I have around 2.5 years of experience but my CTC is too low (1.92 L), I have been in this company from past 1 year, due to low salary I'm not able to make up in Bangalore due to high cost of leaving, as I will get take home of 12K per month.
So I'm planning to change company. Will it affect my career/resume/future since it will become 2 companies within 2.5 years if I change now? I'm really not able to make up in such a low salary. :(
Can any expert guide me in this?

Dear Mr. Pradeep,

Today, when companies are hiring, the first think the recruiters notice is the no. of years the candidate has worked in the companies..Thus due to stability, many candidates get rejected..

Changing 2 companies in a span of 2.5 years will hamper your growth but this can be covered only if you work in a new organisation for a period more than 6 years..

Your evidence regarding the remuneration is justified, but i believe that you should also have the skills and ability to move further. Its not only the remuneration which plays an important role in the career.

I suggest:

1) that you re-consider your decision and try to build your expertise in the

filed of HR rather than switching over for a good package..

2) If you increase your knowledge and your expertise you can automatically

get a good job with a good remuneration.

Though you might not find my above suggestion valid at this point of time, but if you'll implement it, it will bare good results in your professional career...

Hi,
At this stage of your career the last thing you should be worried about is compensation. As mentioned in the earlier reply, focus on knowledge. However I would say that what you should focus on is learning. There are so many things that one has to learn during the initial years of anyone's career. This is never told/ taught to anyone. So, focus on learning and see how it changes things.
