Dear All,
In my company i had found some of our employees spoiling company image on facebook. We have proof of that.
They even demotivating, demoralizing or politicizing other employees that see company is not doing anything for you or not thinking about you. Many things like that.
So in that case what should be the first action.
A warning letter for misconduct or for spoiling company image or a casual face to face warning or it may take to termination.
Also can you guys help me with warning letter?

Dear Mr. Vikash sharma,
This is all about how individuals are making worst use of SOCIAL MEDIA. I don't know about your role in your organisation. If you are an "AUTHORITY", then you need to deal it wisely because, the proof you have may not be authentic enough to prove your employees guilty, only if someone else is playing a game just to ruin your company's image by using your employees name.
Also, you need to get to the root cause for such behavior adopted and practice by your employees, if in case, it is done by your employees only. Please do talk to them and get their responses in written.
Your management has right to take severe action, if your employees found guilty. In genuine case, management's had terminated such employees for their dirty act, under defamation policy because its take a lot to establish a "BRAND".
With profound regards

Hi,

This is a very critical phase of any company because these reviews tend to push back people who really want to join company. According to my best knowledge, you can follow the below guidelines:

* First is warning:

- Face to face discussion with the employees with the proofs will be a check mate. Ask them the reason for doing such image spoiling act. Also, tell them if they not happy working with the company, why don't they leave.

- Send an e-mail to the complete management hierarchic(including Sr.Manager, Manager, Team lead etc) to the employees stating their fault, their acceptance of the fault and the output of the discussion.

- Call up an team meeting and inform everyone that this type of acts will not be tolerated. Anyone find doing so will not be entertained in the company because this is completely against company policy and ethics.

* Second is Termination:

- Even after all this do not change employees. Ask them to leave company. Get a sing on a paper stating that after leaving company they not gona continue the act which will be a proof against them if they continue doing so.

Thnks.!

Dear Vikash
Do you have any policy on IT, Social networking, and public communication when it comes employees talking about company in open and public forum.
If not then please put that in place. Once that is done, please issue a verbal warning to the employee who is doing such things. Explain him things both from legal and corporate point of view.
You may check my earlier posts for IT policy.
