First of namastey from my side to you all.I want to say you that i am new on this forum and i want to know one thing that how to calculate the salary.I am HR manager of new establishing IT company.And we don't have accountant right now.So,i am handling all the salary related process.I have done MBA but i didn't have experience in this,so please help me in this case.I don't know how to make the salary what to include in that what what to not.Please help me.See if the salary of a person is 12,000 then how to calculate his monthly salary with including all the things like D.A,HRA and so on.Please send me the format.Thanks in advance.

So it's the gross salary per month right?
If so, the basic amount (50% of the gross).
HRA (40 % of basic)
Medical (15% of basic)
LTA (40% of basic)
these are the general components of any salary..
