There isn't' such a thing as a general aptitute test. The point of an aptitude test is to find out how good somebody is at something.
Therefore, it needs to be targeted to the specific job. If you are hiring computer programmers then an aptitude test would have programming questions. If you are hiring customer service staff, then you might test their language skills.
If the questions are not related to the job skills, then having the test will not help you in screening the candidates.

Hi Chenia,
Thomas International gives you the required training and MOT. You can do a google search. Also have a look into the following link: Online Psychometric Test and Aptitude Assessment <link updated to site home> ( Search On Cite | Search On Google )
Aptitude and attitude testing too needs an aptitude for that.

I would generally only suggest any sort of aptitude test for technical jobs, where very specific knowledge is essential.
In all other positions, i recommend that you "hire for attitude, train for aptitude" - find people that are smart, energetic and proactive and then train them yourself. You will always end up with better staff this way.

An aptitude test is just a part of integral assessments. Merely conducting an aptitude test would limit your judgement of the selection reliability and validity. Combine it with a string of assessments [Aptitude + Personality Assessment/s]. That should be enough. And yes: You do need an expert to judge the scale scores [not assessment executers, but professionally qualified psychology post grads who have clinical expertise in giving you the result based interpretation of obtained scores n such assessments: quite simply because the interaction of both tests is a complex procedure and without a psych background, info would not be ethical]. If you need assistance for the same, you may contact the undersigned.
