Hi Emmy,

The process is as follows:

1. When employee resigns, the exit interview has to be conducted

2. Preferably take the exit interview on the last day of the employee as if taken earlier he may not be very comfortable in giving the views.

3. On the last day the employee may be either given the form to fill up and later followed by the exit interview OR HR sits with the employee and interviews him based on the questionnaire designed for the organisation.

4a. On monthly or quarterly basis HR along with the concerned Heads (from whose deptt the employee has resigned) sits in meeting and evaluates the comments from the left employees and summarise to be presented to the Managment or decision making authority for final action

4b. OR ALTERNATIVELY EXIT REVIEW TEAM may be framed comprising the key decision makers which reviews the comments from the exit interviews and evaluates the views and customise the actions which are in favour of the company and suitably implement accross the organisation.

5. An annual evaluation of all the activities or policies (which hv been made based on the comments of exit interviews) is taken by the HR review team and further course of actions decided thereoff.
