Hello seniors and friends...
I am serving my notice period. I am expecting a huge charge handover list (duties) from the company. I do not want to get into such a long description as that would mean meddling my fingers into too many pies especially when i know that the system here is not its place.
Also, i do not have any financial or assets obligation towards the co. There are only two-three areas where i work extensively, so i am not liking their idea of putting everything into the handover list.
Now, under the above mentioned circumstances, please guide how to deal with this handover episode. I want to avoid this handover part.
regards,
kane

Dear Kanega,
First get in conseus with your Immediate Superior saying that i will be leaving on X date i will complete the pending task till X date. I will not be able to take any new assigments. If you can give me the reliver person i can train him till my X date.
Put this in writing via e-mail amd mark it to the heads also.
This will make life easier and you will have a smooth exit.

tnx for your advice. i'll defntly finish up the pending tasks from my end before leaving and most probably a new person wont join till i leave, so the question of training does nt arise. But if i have to give handover to my existing collueges, what should contain in the handover list. (please refer my first thread).
i need more opinions in this matter.
