This topic has been discussed many a time, but I have not been yet able to figure out whether companies in Noida will also remain closed or not. Please send me your inputs for the same, whether your co. is declaring holiday on 14th or not.

As per the notification circular of the govt which has been posted in recent forum discussions on this topic, it is mandatory for all govt. offices and public undertakings to keep their office closed on 14 Oct 2010. So far there has been no notification circular released for private firms to also call an off for 14 Oct 2010.

Could you please confirm if you co. is a pvt ltd or Public. Also if you can get information from your company if they had announced the closure on 14 Oct due to some legal madate.

it is for govenment establisment and units under public sector.our our private sector will work as it is.
however if any one wants to declare holiday that is seprate issue.
in Noida all factories and shops will be closed on 25 th oct due to panchyat election.notification attached for reference
