Hi All Friends
This is ankit from a mid size broking firm just started my career as an HR executive in a non-existing HR firm. Would just like to have an advice on how to go on with it with the top management asking for some change in their system right from office culture to developing a level of hierarchy in their organization.

HI Ankit
Start with analysing the current ongoing process.
Study it and take one area at a time and work upon it. For ex in case of change of environment ---try to find out what mindset people(working in the organisation) possess, then see what kind of changes they can accept and would allow. You have to come down to their level and then work. Once u know the people mind then certainly u can decide what things can work and what not.
Implement changes very subtley means first do what people like then do what they dont means if you have any hard thing to implement. Move step wise and areawise....

Hello Ankit. Just a couple of things. Try not to do too much at once. Make your projects manageable and get some wins on the board before you tackle the really big changes.
As for convincing top management, do your research, ask people what they think of the current systems, and above all, show top management in concrete terms how your proposed changes will benefit the organization. I wish you the best.

Hi Allan
Thanks a lot dear for your reply i understand how tough it is to convince the top management when some change is to be brought up in the organization. There is always a fight internally betweeen the employer and the employees well i am trying hard.

I suppose this is the wonder of modern technology: the ability to connect people from different time zones and different cultures. A lot like this valuable forum. I also contribute to a couple of USA forums, so try to keep abreast of what is happening around the world from people who are working on the ground.

Dear Ankit
i think first you should reason out why the management wants a change?
is that current system not yielding required results or its proactive?
i feel culture change is something very difficult to achieve and sustain unless there is an awareness among all employees about the culture change and commitment from all quaters,
there are a lot of sacrifices to be made by almost everybody who are party to it.
unless you reason out its difficult to bring in culture change
